Optimizing Counts: Over Count in Several Zones

In the situation shown below, the count for many zones is above what is expected; vehicles are being counted twice.
In the above situation the signal strength reflection may be too high, causing splashing into adjacent zones. Over counts could also be a result of objects in the field of view (e.g. trees, signs, barriers, etc.). Check for these possibilities and re-adjest lane boundaries where possible. If may be necessary to change the height of the sensor to avoid possible obstructions.
