Communication Considerations

The external contact closure module communicates with RTMS Echo using an Ethernet connection. All Ethernet standards should be followed during installation of the system. 

RTMS Echo and the external contact closure module must be configured on the same subnet. Communication between the two system components cannot be sent over a routed network.
