Connecting the Cable

This section provides information on how to connect the camera cable.

• Connect the camera M12 connector to the provided cable.

2. Twist the connectors clockwise until the connection is tight.

3. Plug the other end of the cable with the RJ45 connector into the PoE injector. 4. When ready, power up the PoE injector. NOTES:

• The default IP address of the camera is 192.168.0.10 which is the same as the default IP address of the RTMS Echo sensor. Communication issues will result if both devices are plugged into the same switch in their default state.
• The camera could receive an IP address from a DHCP server upon intial boot up. To avoide confusion, ISS recommends not plugging the camera into a network switch with a DHCP server enabled until the IP address has been changed from its default.
